About Lotus Recovery

Hi, I’m Catherine — founder of Lotus Recovery.
I created Lotus Recovery because I believe people deserve compassionate, honest, and personalized support while navigating addiction, mental health challenges, and recovery. My goal has always been to create a space where individuals and families feel supported without judgment and where healing feels possible, even during some of life’s most difficult moments.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Psychology and graduated with Cum Laude honours. I also hold a College Diploma in Community and Justice Services, which helped deepen my understanding of victimization, criminalization, systemic barriers, and the complex realities many individuals face while struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. In addition, I have completed Level 2 training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on building psychological flexibility, developing healthier coping strategies, and helping individuals move toward meaningful, values-based change.
Clients are currently able to access services at a reduced rate while I continue working toward professional registration through a Master’s-level program. Please note that services are not currently eligible for reimbursement through third-party insurance providers.
Based in Eastern Ontario, I provide organized intervention services for families struggling with active addiction throughout the Ottawa, Hawkesbury, and Cornwall regions of South Eastern Ontario. I also offer individual, couple, and family counselling through virtual and in-person services.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. Whether you are seeking help for yourself or someone you love, my goal is to provide a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and guided every step of the way.
At Lotus Recovery, I believe recovery is not about perfection — it is about progress, connection, and building a healthier future one step at a time.
